Some people are idiots [rant]

Ahh,

I swear I want to slap some people sometimes. Ok so I was emailing small businessess yesterday in San Francisco asking a few questions and such.

Today, I get a reply from one giving me permission to use their inventory on my website. Anyways, this was good , all was well.

Then as we're working away, we failed to see a small problem about email accounts with the website. So as we were placing inventory on the website , this guy in San Francisco was getting the emails.

So instead of just deleting them and simply emailing me the problem, he emails me these 'angry' hate mails. I put angry in qoutes because it was such a sad attempt to sound tough.

He went on and on and on about 'how you pissed you chance with my business!!!'. I mean, this guy barely spoke english!

And then he begins to throw his threats about how he's going to foward back all these emails to me so 'that you can see how it feels'. I simply just selected them all and deleted them.

I mean, can you be anymore immature ....

This is probably some 40 year old guy, and Im just an 18 year old kid and Im even more mature then he is. Well I would have definitly handled things differently had I been in his place.

So attempting to fix the problem , I email him an apology explaining about the email account problem and how it wont happen again. I then thanked him for showing us the bug and how it will help us with other clients in the future.

I have yet to hear from him ...

I think it was worth the effort because we did have a good laugh at the hate emails he sent us.

ya know, i had a freelancer who didn't really do any work on time (like 4 weeks past due) so i fired him and said since he didn't do any work since the last time i paid him that i don't owe him anything. he posted a message about me on a board and went off on me behind my back. so immature, i gave him a $100 to shutup and retract everything he said.
