So my asswad friend stood me up today to go have dinner, and made me cook for myself, so I whipped out this :
Chicken marinated in Teriyaki/Soy/White Vingera/Sake concoction with Toasted Sesame Pad Thai and Home Marinated Elephant Garlic.
Thought I'd share my creation, thing is I can cook damn well, but I hate to hahaha.

speaking of which, I made a Broccoli salad yesterday, with smoked turkey ham, cold beef brisket, steak leftover cutlets, and a viniagrette made out of Dijon mustard, olive oil, black pepper, and vinegar, Dilicious

You're supposed to make them on the stove top, but I was impatient and decided I would try to make them in the microwave again since I really wanted a cookie. The first time I attempted this new method, it worked, but the second time I think it was too humid and they didn't set right.
Here's my finally revision. They turned out perfect!
Ingredients:
- 1 stick (1/2 cup) butter or margarine
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cups sugar
- 4 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup of peanut butter
- 3 cups quaker oats (or just any regular oatmeal oats)
Directions:
- In microwaveable safe bowl (about 2 quarts) place stick of butter into bowl and microwave until the butter is softened and starting to melt.
- Mix in sugar, water, vanilla extract, and cocoa powder and microwave on high for 6 minutes (you may want to add a minute or two. Just make sure the mixture boils for a good bit, but not so long that it burns.), stirring thoroughly every 2 minutes (make sure to scrape sides / bottom to dislodge sugar).
- Combine peanut butter and stir until it is completely dissolved. Microwave on high for one more minute.
- Slowly add oats and stir until all oats are covered and let sit for 30 seconds then stir one more time.
- Drop by spoonfuls onto wax paper or parchment paper (preferred) and let sit until they firm up (they'll turn from shiny to flat / pasty in color.)
That was exactly how I did it.

Wow, what kind of grocery store do you shop at? While it'd be nice to just pick some up, I think it's actually easier just to make them with my microwave version. :D

Well, they had whole turkeys on sale for 65 cents a pound so I made thanksgiving dinner again.

Last night I made Minnestrone and a Rhubarb Crumble. And drank too much wine.
Tomorrow I am making russian "Pelmeni" with some "Borsch" and "Blini" with oh Red Caviar. And no not because it's cheaper, but because it's better than black. Not many russians eat black caviar believe it or not. Tastes like ass, and Red is just so nice and salty, goes well with vodka and many other dishes.
I didn't eat last night, I drank 2 litres of IRN-BRU instead :)
Oh and yes Gerbick you can come over to my house and we'll eat some russian soul food. No pork I swear.

The dinner was great, and it worked just the way I wanted (granted, the wine and port didn't hurt either). :)
