O, i'm digging the concept, but the whole image isnt working for me. Seems like it's unfinished and the font treatment is not on par with your usual. Nonetheless, this should be a rockin battle.

O hasn't been battling for a bout a year, let him get back into the groove. I think we are just used to CT since he's got a similar style.

I dont think O needs to be defended. I simply gave my opinion on his image. I think he's an amazing artist, and has proven it time and time again here and elsewhere. I just thought this wasnt up to par with his usual work.

I did not however, base his work on CT's work...because in my mind, they are not similar. I never compare to different styles to one another and then give a critique with someone elses style in mind. CT did not even cross my mind when i looked at O's image. Only thing they have in common (other than the fact that they are the 2 march madness champs) is that their imagery is held at a higher standard than most. I hardly think he's rusty either, the guy has major talent and i'm sure he doesnt lose it.

Now with that said, I'm excited to see this matchup as is most of the Arena crew.

and btw- the typography doesnt bother me at all, infact i think its more creative than just throwing a bunch of randomly sized grunge fonts together, which would have probably recieved more praise.

Looks a little washed out, but that could be due to the state of the picture after doomsday. I'd also have to agree about the sky, but those are both just nitpicky things. Great work man.

Nguma.. I'm not sure this volley is on par with the rest of the ones you have posted. I can't say that I like it very much either.

I feel that there is no cohesion to the image, that the typography is less than your usual, and that the element in the foreground is slightly out of focus.

While i'd agree that this isn't the usual for him/her(?)...i think there's a nice cohesiveness to it. Great color balance and nice typography, the smokey skull is cool, but i do think that there's nothing that draws the eye other than the text. Not bad...keep it going :thumbsup:

I like the texture of the image a whole lot. Good work :)
