haha - less than 2 hours man!!! Give. It. Time.
nice image though. maybe you could've put a light colourered blur behind the text to make it stand out a bit more - but still - nice image :)
Normally I'm not a fan of the diagonal line filter but I think it works alright in this image. You just need to either blur it out with a layer mask to give the image a little rhythm, or change the color of your text so that it does not get absorbed by the scan lines.
Thanks matt.Quote:

I thought about the text just after I posted the image.Quote:

I would say that it's not too late man. As strict as some of the members on this website would like to be, don't forget that you're here to grow. Touch up the image a little before anyone else claims a return and we'll continue to critique your hardwork. :yarr:Quote:

Ok, Here is a reworked version.
EDIT: I"m just going to use the top one.
um...not really better. Size the glow more, so it spreads over more area.
As said above, it is not possible to create a glow. I don't have any layers.
but it is possible to create a new layer, make new texts, then add a glow.
thats probably the best thing to do, and also from now on, use layers...it will really help you in tough situtations
not only use layers, but always save your working file...and save often. :) you never know when you're going to have to go back and edit.
Now I regret I didn't save PSD.
I did use layers, but when you save to a png you loose your layers.Quote:

Dont actually save the whole file as a png. Save the working file as a PSD, and then use "Save for Web" to save another copy as a PNG, JPG, or GIF. That way, you always have the layered PSD file to go back to.
Thats what I regreted.
Well, I haven't done much lately, so I'll give you a shot Adobe.
Unfortunately, I don't have tons of time to make some top notch volleys, but I'll give you what I've got.
Let me know.
Well, I couldn't wait for a response, so here it is.
I hope you guys like it.

Comments/Crits welcome.
Finally, somebody posted an image; I was beginning to think this was going to be a dead battle, real nice return. A beautiful background, good incorporation of the girl, though I’d work on the typography, not my favorite type. All in all, a great job :)
Thanks Rhyeen. I always liked that font, but maybe it is time to put it to rest. It was getting late last night when I finished this up, so I didn't have the time to go searching for the perfect font. I felt it worked out not too badly. You should see the damn image I started with .

What do you think?
That dude is creepy, i like the depth and perspective of this image.
Thanks CI. :)
I always like playing around with Liquify every once in a while.
Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet image Davulf. I will get something back in about an hour or so.
Crits and Comments welcome!
That image is a little dark, Adobe. Pretty strong scanlines going on there as well. Maybe try toning those down a little.
Also, what element did you use? If you noticed, I used the waterfall from your image as a skirt for the girl in my image.
I used the red from your volley. :)Quote:

Oh, Mods, we could use a title change.
Adobe the second is much better. Very nice man!
Oh and DaVulf! That second image you posted is sweet! Really really like it mate :)
You double and triple post alot. If you have two things to say in quick succession, just edit a previous post. ;)
I do have a record of doing that. :) Looking forward for your volley.Quote:

I don't think you specified a turnaround, so it may be a while. :angel:Quote:

I guess I just do best at that style. I am a fan of abstract type art, or blured fire images. I think I just do well with the stlye I like.
That said, I think you should try to expand your style and experiment a little bit. Try doing some stuff like I do if you can't find any inspiration.Quote:

Chill out man, it's coming. Its only been a day and a half or so. I've just got the concept hammered out. Good volleys take time my friend. :mrt:Quote:
