dude... I have the OXO Good Grip can opener... had the model before it for over 6 years... this one for about 2 years or so. I hate electronic can openers...
then again, I grow my own herbs and vegetables, I hate microwaves, and use a wet-stone to sharpen my knives...

Yeah - I grow my own herbs as well and have a dislike of microwaves.. more of sharpening steel man myself though.... just seem to get a better result.. been looking at those global wet-stones, aparently they're ok...
Thing is, sometimes you just have to buy cans.. In the winter tinned italian tomatoes are preferable to those tasteless bags of water that they sell in supermarkets at this time of year and call them fresh tomatoes..
And you should always have a tin of goose fat in the fridge...
Anyways, that's not what this thread is about..
Odd as it sounds, I'm really looking forward to installing Vista.. just, interested to see it working..

I'm on the other side of a couple of weird growing pains... top of the line machines will love it. It ran like a champ on my main rig, but I can't install it as my main OS on my main PC. It got relegated to the laptop/travel machine where I run 50% of my software from the USB stick instead.Quote:

Oh, it's not that bad after you've installed all your programs. Only if you plan on doing admin stuff constantly (which I could see you doing), but for most users, after installing all their programs, they'll never really see it again.Quote:
