nice image natsia, but one thing that kinda catches my attention is the bottom of the picture, the dress is a little too blurry for me. But thats all, excellent blending on the image!

its a little too blury all round... just couldnt get my "paper" layer and the image itself to blend nicely.
... Typically I gave up and posted it out of sheer frustration.

This is different than your normal style Nats. I like it. The blurriness gives it a glamor shot look and feel. Is she missing a wing?

Yeah. yeah. yeah. I know we said take our time, but I got inspired. I only added one stock as a Texture, which is barely visible. But I loved your image and played and played with it till I got the below. The wings to the sides are a photo i have personally. If you want it let me know.

Actually thats pretty cool.
I like the fact that you used elements again in the background of this image, gives it a lot of depth.
Plus the way you softened the foreground, her body & dress: you've completely enhanced the "soft & romantic" atmosphere.
I'm seeing a bird in there? Am I going nuts?

I used the wings a lot and did some vector in illustrator, but other than the stock I linked to, your image, the wing image, and the vector work There isn't anything else. The girls face may be playing with your eyes, it is repeated at 2,4,7and 10 o'clock and faded back with layer modes. I like how it kinda looks like she is going from a laying position in bed to sitting up with sheets over her. And normally I don't like to much texturing but it seemed to work here.

Ohhh ... me likey. Kind of reminicent of earlier PST matches I'd see where the same starting image carried on throughout with different enhancements along the way. More a collaborative effort to attain the final result than a series of totally different images.

I would send you the psd but its 32mb which is surpisingly not that bad. I would say all together there is about 40 - 45 layers worth of work in there. I love how you can't tell that from just looking at it.

Like I said, this was mostly idea laid out really quickly, I probably spent about 20 mins on this in between doing other stuff at work today (sorry Pea... I just couldnt deal with the guilt of still not having posted), I do think it brings the general idea of what I was going for across... so I forgive myself (awww: pat on da head)
I'd like to re-work this when I have some more time.
I really wanted to match the lighting coming from the hat onto her face and body, the brim of the hat ect (general omni & atmospheric lighting)... it would've taken a little too long for me to do and didnt want to keep Pea waiting too long. Some of the selections are still a little too hard for my liking, and the shadows... *shudder*
Quite a bit needs to be done to this image before its 100% finished though. As it stands now its still in a rough layoutish phase.

I like the concept. If you do ever finish it up let us see it. I'll work something up for you. This one may take a bit due to the work I expected last week being dropped on me this week.

Natsia for a piece done that quick thats some hot work right there. I like how you poped what little colors where in the girls skin out and pieced everything together great job. the light out of the hat really cool effects and detail. My only thing with hti image I would say you could have done with out the cracked mud texture and the shadow under the girl makes her seem like she is hovering slightly above the stage solid though we will have to go at it sometime if you would like.

Hey Nats, I may have to take longer than we agreed. I am swamped with stuff to do for work and what not.
