crap, forgot it was on. it'll be on-demand soon...definitely going to watch. After Aristocrates, i can only imagine how dirty this guy truly is for an entire hour.
I had the pleasure of catching part of his stand-up in some walk in club in Philly. One of the most disgustingly funny guys on earth, right down my alley.
I think he's highly underrated and mocked because of his stint with the twins and that horrid show with the home videos.
The man has a torrid sense of humor, and lord, he can be dark.
i saw some of it, but i got numb after a while - still good. most people don't know that his standup has always been like this. he even claims his stints on those shows caused it (not true).
i felt bad for that kid jared... :)
hes not funny at all, he just talks about nasty stuff and tries to 'be cool' and talks about how hes not a nerd and stuff like the tv shows portrayed him, you can tell he trys way to hard to be accepted. i went to his show at the improv once @ a year ago and it was pretty bad.
well must have been a different set, because the one i saw barely breached those topics. maybe you caught him on an off night.
Bob Sagat has always been hilarious. He was on the radio the other day and great he was. I can't think of the movie but a kid is in a rehab group for smoking marajuana and bob sagat says"marajuana ain't a drug, I used to suck expletive deleted for coke." and then another dude in the group says "and I seen him". Freaking great! :)
Half-Baked.
saw this last night. some funny moments. but, seemed forced at times. the timing was way off for some jokes. he jumps too quickly to the punch lines. as if he doesn't think people will laugh or something.
the part with the guitar didn't work for me at all either.
perfect example of an overly used joke he didnt write.Quote:

After this thread checked him out on Youtube. Didn't find anything particularly funny about the guy, and yes, it did seem forced like someone else had written the jokes he was using.
Reminded me of a comedian doing the local club circuit.
Too bad, discovered some pretty funny stand up comics from various posts here, but this guy's not one of them in my personal opinion.
Your personal opinion is wrong.
i watched his special last night....
at first i thought it was a little dry and seemed as if he was just pulling jokes out of nowhere in an incomprehensible sense of structure; all while mixed with the F word and many others. I wasn't that impressed.
But, then he got rolling, and I started to understand this incomprehensible structure of joke telling was his main schtick. All in all, what he was saying wasn't all that shocking, it was the way he strung the jokes together and somehow pulled a punchline out of nowhere and placed it in the oddest spot.
I think one of the funniest bits was the story with him and uncle Jessy helping the car accident victim. And the dave coulier jokes were just hysterical.
So, all in all, i got a bunch of laughs out of his standup, but i don't know if he'd be that entertaining all the time to me. Probably more in small doses.
Well, some folk found Full House funny too I guess.Quote:
