I think you should have made that vertical red column way darker than that... as dark as red can be...
I think you should make this hit area for the rollover on the menu to open the links much much larger. There is not anything more irritating than not being able to easily click on links to navigate a site.
I am sure it works great, no problem with navigation or userinterface but I had a hard time accepting that crazy colortheme. It just burn my eyes.
