Lookin' good, BlinkOk! :)
Excellent artwork BlinkOk. I have a question...I am very keen on creating graphics such as you have above, what graphics apps did you use to create the scene if other than Swift3D ?
I'm new to the whole graphics thing - I'm usually a hardcore programmer !! So any help would be greatly appreciated.
I myself, cant wait to get my hands on Swift3D v3 later on this month, looks awesome and I believe will be invaluable to my collection of web software.

Hi Mike ~
That entire thing can be done right in Swift3D V3. :) The only thing that was perhaps added in Flash other than actionscript might be the sky background.
blink, that's amazing. man, I can't WAIT to see more of swift3D v3 work!
Rush is right!Quote:

1. all the buildings were created with swift3d primitives (planes) and extrusions (outlines done in flash). in fact it's a bit like hollywood, the only walls are the ones you see.
2. the trees are spheres and enlongated cones (branches)
3. the car is an extrusion from a side view of a car (outlines done in flash). the hubcaps are squished spheres. the thingys over the wheels are lathes (rotated only 180).here is the .t3d; http://www.nlc.net.au/~oceana/games/simple_car2.zip
4. the sky is a .jpg.
hope this helps
BlinkOk

my copy of swift3d is comming up with this message. it's not a beta, it's an upgrade from v2. anyone else getting this or know how to fix it. i've already e-mailed support, just thought someone might have had the problem already.

Just happned to me as well! Darn!

erm, whoa. I was gonna ask... what build are you guys using? you might want to get the latest updates from the customer only site.
wait, you can't even open the program. contact support@erain.com... they'll fix you guys up.
Ehm... My first thought as well but I haven't got the link for it, browsed erain.com but without luck. I have only accessed it through the menu option in Swift itself, but now it won't start so... I have a chicken/egg situation here (or I'm too blind to find the link on erain.com)Quote:

Even though it might be a build problem, I _have_ bought it and it shouldn't happen anyway, should it?
Regards
i think my build is 168. i purchased the product less than 15 days ago. i checked and the current build seems to be 171. i linked there from my order page (i saved it). mabey you caould look in your history and see if the link is still there. anyway i'm downloading 171 now.
once, I accessed it using the address in my browser's history... for some weird reason during the 1.0 days, my browser was determined not to work with the customer site...
I can only suggest try that... well, if all else fails, definitely give support@erain.com an e-mail... they're usually quick about getting back to you on problems...
good luck...
