CS5 - embed fonts
I'm embedding some fonts into a Flash file and using the "Also include these characters" to embed ©®™ symbols... They are for use in a Dynamic Text Field using Classic Text which pulls in content from an XML file (updated by a CMS).
The font embeds fine, but the extra characters do not. I haven't included them for Actionscript (not needed I don't think).
I have also checked the font, and these symbols do exist.
I was wondering if there are some special publish settings to include these symbols.
This is how my embed info box looks

Any ideas?

The only option left, which I see, is to encode your text inside the XML file, to UTF-8.
Use this Online UTF-8 Converter (paste your text there, and choose UTF-8 Encode), and replace the converted text with your original in the XML file - see if that works ;)

The xml file already is UTF-8
Code:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
And the symbols are working fine - just not showing in the flash :(

drop the whole embed, clear it, and change font - maybe that'll help?

OK - this has now got stranger - I have no found that the symbols are included, but you must leave a space between them and the preceding or following word - so:
You can have:
name ™
But not
name™
Number 2 is what you really want... any ideas why that is?
