its ok man no one replys to mine either but they will reply to one that is basically the same but stupid and not reply to mine. sniff sniff
This IS a good Flash games community. And most of us are intelligent enough to realize that the kind of group project you're proposing NEVER works. We've seen dozens of them come and go--many suggested by people much more visionary and persuasive than you--and they never get past the planning stage.
Do a search and see for yourself.
were you directing that towards me. I get done everything I ever plan.
I believ this is the best flash-community there is, but you have to ask the right questions off course. Basically this means you will not get the answer you want when you ask a question like: "I say this game Super Mario Bros 3, and i wanna know how to do it can somebody tell me how to do it?". I i think the whole concept of a community like this is skill-trade.
Maybe you should start with what you've got to offer (what your skills are) and maybe then people will get exited and say "hmm, let me bring my skills to the table" and actually reply... who knows. Remember there are a lot of people who want to ride on the talents of others, so you'll have to show people you're not one of them.
hope this helps

well if someone is going to be interested u only need to describe a little. I dont know anyone who wants to tell about 200 people their complete ideas, Whats from stopping them from just saying hrrmm nice Idea mine now! The reason I dont get into extreme details is because I rather discuss it out of the forum, like a email or messenger something like that.
I'm not talking about giving away your ideas! That would indeed be s t u p i d. I'm talking about some examples of work what you already have done, where people can get an idea of what you can do... I completely understand your reasons but if nobody is responding you're probably the one who has to adjust...Quote:

Dont forget, many people here are Flash designers, who actually make living with Flash. They have no time or will to do something for free.Quote:

And some others, who take Flash like hobby, dont like to take part in group projects, because they only want to do things, they really like :)
If you want many responces, try posting something like "Flash game designers wanted. Will pay twice then normal." :D
yeh, when you've got 7 posts under yoursleeve and act like a 10 year old, no-one replys.
when you post boring topics, no-one even views them, let alone replys.
when you cant understand what people are saying when they DO reply, your thread fails miserably, and you get no mroe replys.
when you post threads like "why doesnt anyone reply to my thread" you sound like a loser, and from hereon, no one will reply.
I sentence threads/answers are almost gauranteed to get you.....NO REPLYS!
saying flashkit is gay wont get you a reply.
replys are cool. i get lots of em

wow you replied didn't you? does this mean you have a thing for 10 yr old boys who dont understand other peoples threads. You must like them alot to reply to them, and waste the time to do itAnd the whole I doubt professionla will help a amateur I was offering my part Im a animator (professional). So seems like a fair trade to me. Not everyone on here can draw just because ur not interested because maybe you can do everything there are some who cant! Just let the topic die now! Im tired of seeing hypocrites and smartass's who have to waste their time to come to this topic and *****. GO out and get laid, You might feel better about your self and others.Quote:

so how does it feel? the one post every body replies to is the one that doesn't matter.
if you want people to reply your messages you have to get people to look at them... so when you give it a subject you would do somthing like...
SUBJECT: TITTIES...and i need help.
...somthing like that.
you have to get their attention
way to go will-e, u got it figured out. that's exactly what will make people take you seriously. don't forget to make your topics ALL CAPS, too.
Ge0rge, SEMONE, Tonypa and Froth have all made very viable points, and putting tities and weed in your topic will just get mods to look and wonder what sort of person you are.
Post count is no way to judge people, just how well they know the community.
As it's been said, many group projects come and go, no matter how many bumps they get. It's just a plain fact of life.
And yes, the ever present question of "Do my job for free" isn't always taken with maximum enthusiasm.
Yo dudes I think you are wasting your time talkin to this guy because he problablys not gonna read the posts anyway! :D
Just a comment:
Like tonypa said, most of the pleople that come to this forum, are Flash designers or take it like a hobby, and to most of them, (like me) time, is a thing that comes in small packages when your full of projects to work with.
Since most of the simple questions are already answered, and no one want's to loose a lot of time explaining all the doubts all over again, so I sugest that you do an advanced search to the basic questions you might have, and take it from there, then you could ask something more than the basics, if you fell confortable!
As for the flash kit forum, it is the best I know, you can learn a lot just by exchanging toughts, and not ideias.
For me, I'm only sorry that my avaliable time does not allow me to come here more often, and if I acted like you replying to this post, I've never aquired the knowledge I have and had never discovered the best Flash Forum Around!!!
Meanwhile a complement to ALL the moderators!!!
And keep up the good work!
