good idea, could use a bit more "start" animation (when the rocket takes off).

btw, your math is flawed when the rocket is too close to the green thing, so instead of going down the rocket gets thrown higher. I'd say just make it collide with the planet at that range

Yea a could make the thrusters blast when it takes off!

Yea I realize that the hit detection with the planets is a little wonky.

I just thought the game was more fun when you could get crazy close sling shots with the planets. And I didn't want to draw the planets smaller.

hehe I got to level 4, high iVelocity is the ruler :)

I too have game with rocket, though it do not use much actionScript.
