Flash Kit is not totally deviod of celeberties. David Michie(The Swish Moderator and Open SWF Mod) and Oliver Debon (The SwiftTools moderator) are celeberties and experts in thier own rights.
If I'm not mistaken most hand held devices and the Linux platform use Oliver Debons SWF Player.

he took a lot of time to create many good things for FK, we should really give a credit, as well as to other guys like FlashGuru, etc...

I've learned too much at flashkit.com to ever leave. I haven't heard about ultrashock.com until I saw this post, and decided to check it out. I wasn't too crazy about the intro though, but the big names got my curiosity. The main reason I come to flashkit is because of the quick responses due to the many members on this site, it's tutorials, and free sound loops. As long as flashkit continues to update it resources, I plan on being here for a long time.

FK Rocks. other site sounds cool but i have met soo many people on FK... I may occasionaly use Ultrashock, just for the wealth of talent.. but no way am i deserting godly FK!

I was so taken by all the fuss that I visited Ultrshock and I was most impressed by what I saw.
They have message which says ' if nothing happens click here'.
My friends I have clicked like no man has ever clicked and nothing happens.I have been clicking since December. Wicked Fun!
... and when you run your mouse over the title the screen starts shaking and a noise happens. Why can't we have something like that at flashkit?

Where have they gone for their holidays?
I can't wait to see how many of these "Celebreties" at Ultrashock will actually moderate their board!

I posted this months ago, i can't believe its back up! I dont see how Flashkit could have kept it in the database for that long. Man Mark, Prune every once in a while! :)
Though I am still happy to see people supporting FlashKit. I they time i started this thread, FlashKit had only 10,000 members. They have grew ten times that since. I can't believe the popularity of this board. And still after all this time, Ultrashock still isn't up. I wonder if they ever will be. Anyway, good to see members still posting. Thread still up for comments. By the way, I am for FlashKit...

squink, I don't know who first mentioned it, but it's well said. Not a big deal, it's important that we have an agreement :) I'll edit previous post here to reduce any misunderstandings...
oh yeah yeah its cool. I just wanted to point that out. :D
no competition there.. first off Flashkit has it all together except for the occassional database errors but other than that everything is all good! Second, Ultrashock would have to come out first in order to be competiting with Flashkit! My favor goes to Flashkit.com because they've been here from the beginning. The Flashers at Ultrashock are too busy with their projects to run the site.
I think I'll Take a look at it, but I could never Dismiss my fellow Flashkitters !!!!

There seems to be a problem with people wanting to choose sides with the new flash development project.
This site is fantastic and I will continue to come back here to keep up on the state of the art and to improve my designs.
I have been on this site only a week and yet I find I must get my nearly daily if not more often fix.
as for the sound:
