the vat alone on a clkgtr would get u a top aston martin but if u want to spend 1.2 mill on a car its up to u. id prefer to buy a house. but if i was to have a dream car it would definately be a porsche 911 carrera 4 cabriolet. or a s600.

the TVR speed 12 could out drag the maclaren F1, dodge viper, porche 911 and lambourghini diabalo, it's just awsome.
0-60Mph = 2.9 seconds
top speed = 210mph which is electronically limited so it could go faster
and 860 break horse power coming from its 7.7 litre V12!!!
it has the power to weight ratio of three times that of a Ferrari F355!
it is just such a cool car, and with a price tag of £160,000 it is way cheaper than the vast majority of supercars, and it can out run all of them!!!

Check out http://www.motortrend.com and look for the Hennessy Venom 800 (Modified Viper). 0-60 in 2.4 Seconds. 1/4 mile in 9.9 seconds. Let's see the Mclaren do that. 833hp and 902 lbs-ft of Torque.
I would also love to own a 1953 Corvette Stingray. Right now I have a 1993 Dodge Dakota with a 440ci I am building currently. I hope to be running around 500bhp without the Supercharger. But when I put the SuperCharger on, I hope to run near 700-800bhp. More than enough power for me. All this in a 3200 lb truck! :D
they have had non-road legal versions of the tvr speed 12 doing over 240 Mph, now that's what i call impressive, didn't see any 0-60 times for that version though.....
still just a little out of my price range though, can u imagine how much the insurance would be..... plus how much you'd pay in petrol (and i'm from the uk where petrol is just under £4 per gallon!!!)
hey ! i have one that no one has mentioned yet.. im close to it but dont quite have it.. a 93 mustang cobra.. 5.0 v8.. i saw one the other day and it made me sweat.. :) right now i have a 99 mustang.. 3.8 v6.. if i could get my hands on a cobra i would cry.. they are so amazingly fast and furious :)! i think they are awesome lookin im sure not many people agree.. peace.
i think some people need to stop equating fastest with best, there's sooo much more to enjoying driving that going 0-60 in 4 seconds!!!
I couldn't care less how fast a car is, it's how good it is to drive that counts. I love to drive cars that you can really throw around, cars that you can get to the limit in. The best car i ever drove personally was a lancia delta integrale.. now that rocks!! So 'chuckable' and controllable.
i have a friend in australia who drives cars on race tracks and he said the best handling car he ever drove was a lotus elise... one of the worst was the porsche boxster!! hahah...
oh yeah and TVRs freakin' rock!!! :D
i would love a '68 AC cobra, though i suspect it handles like a pig!

My neighbor has a Chevy Silverado 4 door and Short Bed. It has a 14 inch, yes 14 inch lift kit on it. It uses all wheel drive with 5.13 gears and Detroit Lockers. He took out the 327ci and put a 502ci with a 6pack on it. HE has headers with shorty pipes and Flowmaster muffs. He has 42 inch tires on it with Mickey Thompson rims. He Dyno tested it at 672bhp and about 625 lbs-ft Torque. He gets where he needs to go with the thing. I am still trying to convince him to get a 14-71 B&M MegaBlower for it though, that would be tight.
