God is a teacher...he creates the world around you and gives you a brain that creats creativity through art and self evolvment. He lets you live your life the way you want to live your life, he does not make you worship him, or even belief in him...he is a symbol for the creation of your self and the elements around you.
This is the truth, religion is just an organization that tells you the way to live your life, and what to believe in...along with promising a sinless afterlife to those who follow thier rules, and well 'HELL' to those who dont.

Little Tommy was doing very badly in math. His parents had tried
everything; tutors, flash cards, special learning centers, in short,
everything they could think of. Finally in a last ditch effort, they
took Tommy down and enrolled him in the local Catholic School.
After the first day, little Tommy comes home with a very serious look on
his face. He doesn't kiss his mother hello. Instead, he goes straight to
his room & starts studying. Books & papers are spread out all over the
room and little Tommy is hard at work. His mother is amazed. She calls
him down to dinner and to her shock, the minute he is done he marches
back to his room without a word and in no time he is back hitting the
books as hard as before. This goes on for sometime, day after day while
the mother tries to understand what made all the difference.
Finally, little Tommy brings home his report card. He quietly lays it on
the table and goes up to his room and hits the books. With great
trepidation, his mom looks at it and to her surprise, little Tommy got
an A in math. She can no longer hold her curiosity. She goes to his room
and says: "Son, what was it? Was it the nuns?"
Little Tommy looks at her and shakes his head "No".
"Well then", she replies, "was it the books, the discipline, the
structure, the uniforms, WHAT was it?".
Little Tommy looks at her and says, "Well, on the first day of school,
when I saw that guy nailed to the plus sign, I knew they weren't fooling
around."

I can only say that you haven't opened the old testament, let alone read it. I'm sorry but what Tiana quoted (that a woman raped is now unclean and unfit for her husband!) IS mentioned at least twice in the old testament along with numerous other absurd 'Laws'. I don't carry a bible with me, but I have read it cover to cover (out of pure interest) a number of times. I have tried to search over the internet in some Christian sites for the rights word to write here since it's a discussion to take carefully. Than i have decided that i will not be my opinion at all if i just search for it. So here with a little more time in my hands i will let my 2 cents into the bottle.
I grew up in a poor country, where he main religion was african Santeria, reading cards, talking to dead people, i had never heard of God in the Christian way so i din't pray, i thought that when i died i was going to be away forever, it made me feel bad to think about it. No one in my familly is Christian.
I am also a victim, and although i shouldn't comment on my private life, i'll for i am not ashame of having been a victim. I was also raped and sexually abused, i was abused mentally and phisically by my parents and have lived a life that took me to the hospital for inteded suicide.
I could blame God for it, but i don't, because i never found so much strngh until i found HIM. And i believe because what the bible ask me to do is the right things a person should do to live a pure honest life. About all those frases and thins that the Bible says that we misinterpretate i have to say. Don't try to know everything, sometimes it's smart to be ignorant. The reason why man sin in the first place was the temtation of wanting to know always everything, and that is not good. There are many things i will never understand in the Bible, and i don't care about knowing it. The principals are t he most importants things, and remember, The Old testament, was writen before the New and in the New Jesus says that from is death we shouldn't follow no longer the Old although we should repect, but that He came in this Earth to give man another possibility. Also,there are many ways that God expressed Himself trought the profets that seems like normal easy words, but that are words that only people given the right to it can understand.
Unfortunatelly most people don't believe because they espect from God to many things. They expect that to say " Lord i want that this cancer will go away" and that God will come tomorrow and will do it. Every person expect God to be the miracle maker that is inside a bottle and everytime you need it and ask He will come and make your wishes. People so far don't understand that we are not here in this microcospic Planet for a purpose, they think that we are just here and that there is no one better, higher than us, that is because we are to selfish, we live a life to involve in ourselves, we live to bring down everyone aslong as we get to were we want to get. If u think about the Things that God ask us to do.
What is better, to lie or to say the truth, and if liying is better than why you get angry wen someone tell you a lie.
What is better, to kill or to love someone? than why if someone kills you mom you hate them?
what is better, to hate your brother or to love him?
and i can go on. The problem is that we want answeers, we want miracles, we want to see that god. I imagine life like going o shcool. You got to school to learn so the day of tomorrow your future will be better, to bad that the mayority of the people go to school to fall asleep. That is life, you are in this World to be tested and when the final exam comes, then God will decide wether you failed or you passed.
Ok, i am a chrisitan and i am not so sure i 'll end up in heaven, because i do things that surelly are not what God ask me to, i repent but than i do them again. But i still believe that if i don't go it was because of me, for i had the opportunity to do what was right. I don't love God because he promise heaven, i love God because he give me the hope and the opportunity to be better, to do what is right so i can than be chosen to live happy.
This is a deep comversation and i could writ forever and i won't because everyone has his own opinion, and there are two things that never should be discussed between two people "regligion" " politics" the two of them will only take you to desagree and fight, i think that whoever does not believe should be left alone with their views, Gods has his Purpose and is not up to US Believers to try to convince them otherwise, but to demonstrate with fact and Goddly acts why we are so sure we have taken the straight road.

Even though you do not serve him know you still are in his midst, that is the only reason anything is halfway good.

You have a choice to eat them and be rewarded for obidence........

God gives you your whole life and many chances to choose, but.......when the day comes and you die, you have to face what you chose.

We are under his grace........it says if you repent he is quick to forgive and that he does not expect us to be perfect. That is the great thing, he does not want us working in self effort, to empty ourselves so HE can fill us to the image of Christ, once we are filled and being filled(santification) it is then more and more we will be delivered...... Also as long as you believe Christ died on the cross for you you are saved and WILL go to heaven. Cannot undo what he has done.

I know a brother there ministering know, and the Lord has used him to raise people from the dead, give the blind sight, even people born with NO eyes, etc.
Maybe he has ministered to you?? Or maybe I can have him, to just share or for fellowship, etc. :D
