will people please stop talking about a war, this isn't an act of war, it is plain terrorism. There is no one to declare war on, for all we know this could be another attack by an internal group.

it is highly unlikely that this was a terrorist act by a national government, let's try to remain calm and not start talkign about wiping out entire countries, less than 100 people could be responsible for this and they could all be american as has already been seen in oklahomaQuote:

anyone actually in NYC? i'm in charleston, SC - all military bases here have been evacuated, and all air-force reservists have been called to duty.
the footage of the buildings going down is incredible....
the whole of southern manhatten has been evacuated
they keep showing that second plane crashing into the tower and it is still just utterly unbelieveable. My jaw has been on the floor for the last hour.
i still can't get through to my friend, though she is working in midtown and should be ok.

an expert on BBC just said that there need not have been more then two terrorists on each of those planes.
