i heard on two different channels that there are no more planes 'missing'
2 american airlines 164 people gone down
2 united 154 people gone down
no other planes reportedly missing
i would guess that the plane that went down in pittsburgh was heading for somewhere else though
That plain was heading from Chicago to New York. I think that the pilot heared from the attacks on the radio and thought that is was better to crash the plain in a non crowded area then in New York.Quote:

The last thing I heard was that a single plane was missing and that it could be headed to Washington DC. There are talks of possibly shootin git down....wow!

just heard it confirmed that 50,000 people occupy those two towers during the day.
still absolutely stunned. Think of the logistics of this, all those companies in the buildings, all the staff... The nasdaq will be down for days. I don't even want to think of the people.

I'm just watching the news, also some dutch articles. Seems a US terrorist specialist (former US ambassador in the netherlands) predicted something like this to happen. According to him, terrorist acts got more focussed on killing as much possible poeple as possible then what it used to be ~ for political reasons. He said that an act like this was bound to happen sooner or later, but probably sooner. He predicted especially the US should be at their very best warning level, things like this were to very likely to happen soon.
I hope the US knew that.
I am very deeply shocked by the event, I hope for the palestinans it wasn't a government terrorist act. They wouldnt survive a war with USA.
I feel deeply for the the ones who got hurt, or killed in the attacks. I hope this will not lead in World War 3. That would be total destruction.
The greater nations have together got enough nuclear warheads to destroy the earth completely, 3 times. That is a big possibility when WW3 would come.

someone on the BBC said they would be suprised if the final death toll was less than 10,000, there were over 50,000 people working in those towers, never mind the devastation that must have been caused around it.

around 50 small planes still in the air as well as several international flights inbound to U.S.
I think its likely that at least some of the terrorists that boarded those planes will be identified, therefore revealing their affiliation, and the ultimate root of this act of COWARDICE.
