In version 1.5x of Swish when text was first inserted,
it was highlighted and you could then type to overwrite
the default text. That disappeared in v2.0.
Will it ever be coming back?

its just wacky lol.
I just tried the old swish again .. it didn't do that at all. You have to double-click on it.Quote:

In V2 there was a feature where once text was inserted, you could simply type to add to it (or use the Backspace key to delete cahracters etc). That seems to have gone missing in the latest version .. I'll see if I can find out why.
As for double-click .. hmm .. I'll see if I can make it have the same behaviour.
OK .. just changed (for next build).
When you select text, then typing on the keyboard will edit the text (so you can add text, or delete with the backspace key). This also applies when you first insert the text.
When you double-click on the text, the text is highlighted in the Text Panel so you can overtype it if you want .. this is a quick way to completely replace the text.
Thanx Roger.
You say "bag of worms" ... I say "foxhole of opportunity" :DQuote:

I know you can do it, Matey !!!
BTW, when you get that wrapped up, we would sure all greatly appreciate it if (in your spare time, of course), you could redesign or fix the Flash Player. Perhaps some new insights will come out of the "foxhole" project and you can license 'em to MM
We gotta keep you busy... 'cuz that helps you stay out of trouble!!! Remember: "Idle hands are the devil's workshop" (hehehe).
