harder to pick than a broken nose this one..
i think there are 2 kinds of people, those who can imagine and envisage great art, in whatever form they choose; creative types, if you will. and those who cannot, people whose skills lie more in say, accountancy;)
it seems like what a lot of people are talking about is whether or not a you have to have the ability to transform what you can see in your mind into something others can share to be called an artist..
so do you define an artist as a person with the capacity to come up with the idea, or a person with the capacity to execute it?
personally i'd like to think the first was true, but when reality bites, doubt anybody could get a job solely by thinking pretty pictures.
there you go, a lot of philosophical rubbish and no closer to the answer. that's me down to a tee, that is.
