i serve up the western hemisphere combo meal - english and spanish...although i picked up a little german while working for a german teaching assistant in school, and my wife has taught me some french (but i hate speaking/reading it :(

i speak english pretty well :p (my native language)
i can speak pretty minimal german (example : ich spreche nicht gut Deutsch! ich lerne Deutsch in der Schule, Deutsch klasse eins) <<anyone tell me if that makes *any* sense (preferably if you know a lot of german :p)
and i can read hebrew, but not understand a word of it.

Being able to speak danish means I can hold a conversation with a Norwegian... (found that out speaking to a lady on a plane. She spoke Norwegian - I spoke danish - only to find out were were both english!!)
and can be a scouser if I try (c'mon... that is so foreign sounding it could be classed as a 'second language')

Studied German, Japanese and Greek back in high school for a term each so I know greetings for each and count to 10 :D, plus I studied French for a whole year in Year 9, so I can basically start a conversation in it. I might study French again next year.

Not considering myself a Lady or a Gent, but rather a strange swamp-creature, I thought I might as well reply anyhow...
English, spanish and dutch fluently, I can get along in french, german, italian and afrikaans (south-african) as well as portuguese. And I know a few words in swedish, russian and polish (just enough to buy bread, get a room and understand when it's time to run off without paying the bill). And if I really stretch it, I know a few swearwords in another 5 or 6 languages... oh, and a bit of cantonese (I think it is), but I keep mixing up the meanings of the words there... :p
All those languages have made me slightly multi-lingually-mentally-dyslectic... as in I keep using word(s) from different languages when speaking one and I don't remember the correct word(s) in the language I'm speaking...
I also speak dominatrixese...
