Trying to run Windows 3.0 on a computer with 33 Mhz and 2mb of Ram. I don't even know why they sold windows with computers so slow.
I crashed the computer just because I put too many program groups on it. (I was trying to get organized....so much for that!)

i remember the days of the Spectrum (with out inbuilt tapedeck).. having to wait 30mins for Dizzy to load... then having it crash within 5 mins, or having to restart cause the joystick didnt work!!
master system II was 8bit but it pissed on the NES graphically... remember the wait for sonic 2 on the megadrive(genesis).. and streets of rage 2 :D

Timex Sinclair 1000 (a computer kit) 2k memory, membrain keyboard hooked to a b&w TV.
Typing in basic programs in the Popular Electronic magazines.
The first affordable floppy disk drives so I didn't have to store everything on cassette.
Vic 20, Commadore 64, Atari 800, Atari 800XL, TI 99, and so on.... I had them all.
The first 300-600-900 multi modems and the very first 10meg hard drive over $500.
It sure seems nice not to have to work with that old stuff anymore!!!
