Isn't the big point being missed here? It's their product that's being ripped off, so isn't it their reponsibility to protect, rather then to attempt to introduce some unenforceable regime of 'spy chips'? I mean, shouldn't the product be controlled and not the user?
The fact that any and all product protetection methods have so far failed doesn't mean that the computer users' rights should infringed upon.
