6 and 7 are nice, but too overused
I'll go for 3 or 9
i'll go for 7
i like 9. it makes Tesljobs look more trendy and modern.
no. 2 or 9 but number 2 is more suitable for pharmaceutical company logo :D
Thanks for the replies guys! It is very difficult to make a decision on your own work. Im glad there is a community here to help.
James
sooo which one u gonna use?
I will have to show the others involved in the project. I would say it is between 7 or 9. I do agree the style of 7 has been used quite a bit as a typical logo style.
What about color and font for number 9? I usually don’t use different fonts for things like these I find it sort of clashes but I tried it here and wasn’t sure if I would be flamed here a FK. What do you think?
James
No 9. No 9. No 9. No 9 etc.
(see, even the Beatles agree with that one - the White album).
Anyway, perhaps you could try using the same font for the 'jobs.com' as you did for the 'tesl' - only smaller.
Just a thought.
Hold on a sec, this is the Coffee Lounge for general chat. For graphics etc (ie logos) you must use the Design and Graphics forum.
:)

thanks. Yeah I will be probably going with number 9 I did use the same font take a look http://www.tesljobs.com/logos/logos.html Not a big difference.
Can you move this thread to the Design and Graphics forum? Sorry for the trouble.

7 or 9 are the best
Just wait for a mod to move it, mind you, you are probably getting better feedback in the CL than you will in the D&G :D ;)Quote:

moved from coffee lounge...
not really, first off I don't think anyone can judge these unless you tell us what they're for, for example, will you ever use these for non digital work, such a cards, letterheads? If you will none of them will work well.Quote:

I honestly think you need to rework those logos, none of them strike me as being suitable in style or design.
take a look at a site like http://www.logoed.fsnet.co.uk/index2.html and examine the logos, all the successful ones are simple and in some way bold enough to carry the message.
if I were you I would see what I could come up with if you restrict yourself to using no gradient fills. I don't think your typography is really successful in your logos, you need to be bolder with the name, bring it out and let it speak.
the best advice about a logo is that you should be able to draw it in the sand with a stick.
hope you don't mind, just being honest.
good advice aversion!
indeed. I agree 100% with the above advise.
If you start designing logo's get off with two colors, black & white.
If it looks good then you can be sure it will fit in most
advertising forms.
Check this great russian resource site.
It has all logo's in .eps format ready for download. http://logo.nino.ru/
I never mind good advice! Thanks for the replies. However I will not be using the logo for letter heads or anything else other than a graphic/title for my site. It will be on the top left side of the site just sitting there. I do want a logo that is very simple but also want to use gradient fills, b/c I’m not using this anywhere other than this site I feel that I could use fills and other effects without running into problems. If I anticipated using this logo I would definitely make it paper friendly etc…
Thanks again for the help guys.
James.
also think about how you're going to use your logo as an identity, it can do far more for you than just sit on your masthead. The most obvious example is all these 'logo farms' you see at the bottom of pages like http://www.surfstation.lu/. You can use your logo as an icon if you design it cleverly, it might help you annotate a page or create an awareness without the need for text.
have fun and post some more!
All of them r unique and good
