nice !!! :)

Here are some new ones I got last week - all long exposures and hand held (i dont have the tripod with me anymore :/).

...........and my fave one - this is what you get when you take a pic of traffic lights late in the eve, without a tripod and giggling at the same time. I think the actual exposure was about 7-10 secs long :p

I love the little booths they have in the open cark parks here, at night they look like little luminous oasis in the city darkness. I'm planning to go out one night and make a whole series of shots like this :)

I did photoshop some elements from this image, just some random lights in the left background from passing cars etc, the rest is untouched.

thanks, I'm going to try and take it again tonight, without that 'coopers' sign in the reflection, I want it to be a bit 'cleaner'

i dont mind the coopers sign, i love the 3 reflections, it is about reflections..

whats that on the floor, i cant make it out

would be ace if it was raining and the floor did a puddle reflection, just an idea :)

newspapers on the floor. It is about the three+ reflection, which is why I think that sign is distracting :)

I want to get rid of it and have the reflections and clean surrounding.

its your call just thought the water idea would look nice

the sign one and the canoes were the best out of the bunch, but you need to learn when to use black and white to ur advantage. I'd remove the b&w pic of the heavy people. I just doesn't work for this thread.

Ian, I like those last two, interesting textures on the one with the light.

thanks.. the light one was just one i took on the way home from the place w/ the helicopter etc, came out better than i thought it would


i need to get access to a dark room (+knowledge on how to use one), and maybe some more interesting scenery, and i'll scan in a few more.

second try, not as grungy as the first, but lacks interesting contrast....
