Does it need more contrast?

I've always wanted to take pics of clouds from an airplane. Never good get a good shot though. Your bottom two pics are SWEET!
Some of the clouds i saw whilst flying were so cool, just wanted to jump out and walk on them. There were some that looked like fantasy scenes, did take photo's but didn't come out that well.Quote:

How nice it would be to take airplane pics without that annoying airplane window. Got some kayaking pics coming in a few.
I went kayaking last Sunday in 11 Mile Canyon last Sunday. They are all action shots. Its really hard to make an action shot look artistic. I tried my best with these.

Does my tinkering of the gradient map make it look better? Or is it too hard on your eyes?

yep :)Quote:

Amazing stuff going on here - here's a few of my own, shrunk down to be kind on the modems (not that that'll help all that much on this page :D).
http://www.speakeasy.org/~openedsource/pics/ghosts.jpg
Here's one taken down by the shore - not at all photoshopped, just a happy accident. Kind of spooky - I think there were actual people there...
http://www.speakeasy.org/~openedsource/pics/sunset.jpg
And here's another from the same day. An amazing sunset - unfortunately we missed the sun when it was a great big red ball in the sky.
http://www.speakeasy.org/~openedsource/pics/pichu2.jpg
Here's some obligatory Yoshi pics - she's injured at the moment, so she's walking around the apartment looking like a big lil' flashlight. Here she's a bit wary of Pichu,
http://www.speakeasy.org/~openedsource/pics/hugs.jpg
but it didn't take long for her to warm up to him.
http://www.speakeasy.org/~openedsour.../billabong.jpg
And in this one, she looks like a super-cool surfer cat (and you thought they didn't like water!)
http://www.speakeasy.org/~openedsource/pics/pearls.jpg
I was having some fun with the lights outside of our hotel in San Jose in this pic,
http://www.speakeasy.org/~openedsour...adowgarden.jpg
And later snapped a pic of some kids having fun with the shadows in the Tech Museum.
http://www.speakeasy.org/~openedsource/pics/garden.jpg
Along the way we took a wrong turn and ended up in Japan(town),
http://www.speakeasy.org/~openedsour...deerchaser.jpg
and took some pics while we were there,
http://www.speakeasy.org/~openedsource/pics/monk.jpg
until someone was kind wnough to show us the way.
http://www.speakeasy.org/~openedsource/pics/plain.jpg
And of course my post wouldn't be a pic exchange post without a not so plain plane picture - I really did feel like Little Nemo, wanting to run across the clouds in Dreamland.
Ok on the subject of plane's here are some more views from my trip.

great shots toony ! Love the Lisbon_by_air the best I think. I wanted to take some shots at the airport while waiting to board but didnt want to push my luck.
Our luggage was checked thoroughly (and our shoes etc) and there was lots of security around JFK which was kind of intimidating, so I kept the camera firmly in my bag.
Here are some more shots - i personally like the 1st one :)
