Looks great. Fun. Takes a loooooooong time to load. I also use Angelfire to host & dont have prolems, your file size must be 800kb +!!!
Nice interface! Here are my comments:
I like the electricity on the wires and the other small animations, like the running blue lights on the top and the red bubble tube. They aren't distracting and really make the interface seem like a 'live' machine. I am not as big a fan of the red dots on the right side, because they could possibly be distracting or taxing on the eyes. Small or subtle animations can go a long way in most situations.
I don't hear music playing, though I suspect that is because this is an interface test, not a sound test. Good job on providing a mute mechanism.
Are the buttons going to be labeled with text or some kind of meaningful symbols? From a human factors perspective, that can be more effective than having headings appear in other parts of the screen.
There are mysterious mouseovers on the labels that appear in the box when one of the bottom buttons is clicked. To see what I mean, select 'News' and then mouseover the letters of the word when it appears.
Finally, it might be something to consider a design that fits on an average-sized screen without requiring the user to scroll up and down. Your design is neat and has a lot going on, but on my monitor, I am unable to view it all at once. There is no exact science to this, but it is something to consider. Perhaps the design could be wider instead of long?
I hope some of this feedback is helpful. Your site looks like it will be very fun and interactive.

Really nice interface. I had no problems with downloading. (DSL) but agree with Technograffiti concerning the screen-size (17 Zoll Monitor 800 x 600). Maybe You should show the film in a popUp-Window that accordance with this still mostly used screensize (in Germany it`s about 80% of all internet-surfers using these settings) or simply publish it with the 100%-setting.
Can`t help you with your question about what content you should may use. I think this should be decided on what your favorite interests are or for example on what skills you're advanced in.
Anyway - you did a good job !
