Listed below are some basic RULES & RECOMMENDATIONS to help you get the most from from your request for a Site check and to provide constructive feedback.
--------------------------------------------------------
POSTING RULES:
1) The Site Up for review MUST be YOUR Site.
MEANING CONCEIVED and DESIGNED by YOU.
2) If It is not YOUR site AND/OR you are not seeking An HONEST
CRITQUE Then this is NOT THE FORUM TO START A THREAD
3) The ONLY link that should be in YOUR POST should be the
LINK to the site you wish Reviewed.
4) The site MUST be PREDOMINATELY a SWISH site.
While it may contain MMFLASH components its core structure and design must be Swish.
Any sites posted that are predominately MM FLASH will be moved to the Flashkit Site Check forums
5)The site must not contain material that would breach Flashkit rules regarding content.
An example is that FK has a "G" rating so NO ADULT ONLY material is permitted.
6) There cannot be any reference or links to illegal content including warez or cracks. The posting will be deleted and your IP recorded.
4) The site's content must be ORIGINAL WORK. If you know that you have designed a site that is influenced by someone else or contains elements of someone else's work the original author MUST BE ACKNOWLEDGED in your posting.
5) The SITE MUST BE 70% Completed.
If you are posting something like a layout concept STATE THAT in your thread title.
6) Thread TITLES: Please keep them short, to the point and with no CAPS on.
7) If your post is simply an UPDATE of your site it must be POSTED in the original thread. Do not start a new one for site updates.
REPLIES to A SITE CHECK POSTING
1) Answer any specific question put by the poster eg. Loading time
2) Be constructive in your criticism and keep it fact based. eg "your site sucks" is not constructive feedback.
List your suggestions and provide a short statement supporting them.
3) Do not hijack someone else's Site Check thread by including a link to your own site or work and seeking feedback.
