Flash Communication Server Integration

Ok, we have started integrating Postnuke with Flash MX Communication Server. Please let me know what you think.

What we are doing overall is an integration into a CMS directly Flash MX Communication Server applications, allowing PHP / Postnuke to control the user accounts. This is still very much a work in progress, and by no means perfect, but it is coming slowly. We are going to push the limits of this as well, more tightly integrating Flash overall into Postnuke. We see a lot of potential in collaborative sites with tailored applications like this.

At some point we may do the same for PHP Nuke, but I am not sure at this stage.

Please stop by and have a look, you have to register for a user account (it is free) to hit the chat (again controled by Postnuke), but there are some screen shots up now too. This is NOT one of the standard Flash Comm samples, or even close.

Too much information. I run a web business churning out about ten sites a week and I am always looking for innovation that we can use. This looks like it has possibities but there is no quick way of finding out the advantages, what it does and what it can do for me. Way too much stuff to read and simply no time to go through it. Perhaps you can simplify your presentation and deliver the marketing message first and the details later.

First, in truth I am not at all a big fan of the theme, as far as Postnuke is concerned. As a result we made the Flash Comm app match it. The theme looked pretty good and was fast and easy to apply as it was premade. One thing we are looking at more closely is a "theme" engine for the application, but most assuredly after version 1.

As to having too much information, we have not yet reached a point where we are so much into marketing it. At this stage, it is a matter for getting the software out and get reviews of it. In the coming weeks I will do an abridged feature write-up (as well as the full write-up) and post it to the site, from the stand point of marketing.

Bear with us, as we have had our head in the code lately and just coming up for air to show off what we have put together.
