Portfolio Site 5 months in the making. Good?

Any and all feedback would be appreciated.
What works and what doesn't?
(either technically or asthetically).

I really like the navigation the movement is very smooth. The arrow menu thing and the way that the other sub menus look and build on the screen is good.

I do not like the colour scheme though. It feels really flat, there is no depth.

The area where the content is displayed feels a bit crowded. I don't think you need the 'gadget' in the middle to watch the content on. You take that away and give yourself a lot more room to show stuff in.

Oh yeah switching the music off was the first thing I did.

the beginning parts are good, the loading etc. but suddenly, when the blue parts with outline comes out, it just seems very old. I think you should work more on the layout.

and since I'm listening to a music, i switched off the music.

It was a good experiment, but I am going to chuck the whole thing and start over.

5 months not entirley wasted. At least you know what to include, what to do, in your new site.
