no no no. i think sounds needs to be on every site. even subtle barely noticable button sounds or something. not for promo, but on my site. i like the button sounds. they are too loud if you ask me, but something like that. you know? not over the top, but just there. it adds personality. right?
i did enjoy this site very much...it has a nice subtlety to it and although very precise its not overstated too much...i do agree with NO-TEC i think it needs a bit of sound on it somewhere but as it was posted on one of the sitecheck forums maybe it is not finnished yet...
it would be interesting to hear the designers point of view
very smooth... only thing i didnt like is if i was gonna go back again the page transitions would start getting a bit annoying since they are really long

One of the nicest features on this site is the different look of the site each time you re-enter. Click the link, then refresh the browser...you'll see what i mean.

Didnt hear about this thread until now. busiy x-mas so I havent toutched the computer since 24th. Im honored that it got posted as a "coolsite". in my eyes its not a coolsite, not compared with all that bad ass flashsites that are out there.
I wanted to do a personal website that did stand out from the rest of the crowd and had a lot of personality. I wanted to do a pure website with a lot of transition animations that was easy to update/maintain and in that area I think It turned out ok. But I know I can do alot better..
No sound? That is mainly beacuse I havent used sound effects so far, im a web developer so I dont do animations too often. This was probably one of my first attempts in doing a fully animated website. So im sorry, I am still too stupid to play sync sound effects with animations :)
And I have to disagree with you No-Tec, my personal opinion about sound effects is that they are often disturbing, due to the reason that I always listen to music when I use my computer. It also raise the size of the .swf file. I thought doing a new layout would add some personality. But I respect your opinion and taste, the world would be really boring if everyone had the same taste :)
More work will come from me in the future, I have tons of stuff to learn with animations / sound effects now, when I feel like I can handle the AS part ok.
Im honored that some people think that it is a coolsite, but in my eyes. none of my work will ever be cool.

Dont want be harsh but what so special about this site? As a designer I don't think black typo on a green background is clean for a site.....but that's mt opinion.
