Nice actionscript on the navigation. I would use the ease in and out tool to go along with your tweens. Good job!

Just gunna list off stuff as I see it:

I think you need to make it a little more obvious that the bar at the bottom is the menu. I sat there for a bit wondering if the preloader wasn't working properly.

In the web portfolio section it would be nice to be warned that clicking the project button opens up the site. I thought it would give me more information about the site before I choose to launch it.

The wall paper looks like it could be nice but i had "page not found" when I selected the link.

The graphic on the welcome bit looks good. Smoothly animated.

I'm a big fan of using script to scale and move and such like. It gets the movement so smooth.

Nice typeface for the titles.

Would be nice it the site fit into one page. Then you could remove the scroll bar completly using the frame set.

Some of the pics in the site (skills section, services,lab etc.) look a bit too much like stock pictures. I think that the look on the welcome page suits the feel a whole lot more. They are a little corporate for me.

On the whole good site dude, nice job.

I agree with all of the other comments but i have one of my own. Lose the background!!!

I like the idea of the background but it does clash... takes away from the main image...

also... the navigation is great but how about moving the descriptions above the nav bar so that you can read them better when your pointer is over them?

keep the background, but fade it a little, maybe reduce the alpha to like a 40% or so

Good site overall. I like the colors and the nav elements. I would probably lighten that background more though. If you have already, lighten even more.
