errrr...
www.flashlevel.com preloader?
it's official guys, you can no longer us a rectangle as a preloader, it has been copyrighted.Quote:
Nice site, a bit off the regular trail and I like it. The transitions are nice and creative. Great find!
yeh it si kinda, I didn't think of that.
first time you saw a flashsite?Quote:
that kind of preloader is the second common preloader out there right behind the "small version of software stantard loader".
Very nice transitions, smooth. I was hoping some more pictures or colors. Browsing just a text is kinda boring. I think that there's too much unnecessary text on most of the IT-companys sites. No-one really read them. The main thing is how good your portfolio is.
Yeah, okay. Maybe we can wait for either Masa or Flashlevel to see this thread and confirm what was ripped, yes ripped, from their site.Quote:

Pretty good, i wasn't sure about the colours. But nice transitions like you said.
It's ok, not great.
Yeah, there's some nice sounds and the spinning transition. However, I don't think it stands out from any of the other Flash sites out there.
I haven't seen that type of transition before, so props for having an original idea and executing it pretty smoothly.
Hang on... lemme get my microscope so I can read this....

This site was discussed at the copycatz section at ultrashock
-> http://forums.ultrashock.com/forums/...threadid=26503
At first when I saw the site It was pretty obvious that the graphic to the preloader was stolen from our flashlevel 2003 website.
So after some talk over phone with terabit they changed the graphic to the graphic that is visible today.
I am pretty sure we wasnt the first to use a resizing preloader.
But stealing graphic is never right.
Over and out,
masa.
so for those of us who haven't seen it at US would have no idea what rooney was on about because what we saw was 'legit'? Now it all kinda makes sense.
i have to agree with the Viking bloke above if NASA made the graphic then it is stealing
but you cant copyright a preloader as it only the contents of it that the designer made size and shape dont count after all everyone uses text boxes but do you hear the cry copycat no cause you dont
preloaders come as a tool in flash for evry one who got it to use freely
Wow, he said that all in one breath! :D
Well, they removed the graphic elements stolen from our site, we never complained about their preloader engine, it wouldn't make sense to copyright a preloader technique would it?
Although they did make changes, they are still kinda of using our way of loading contents, sad that they couldn't come up with their own ideas, but nothing enough to bother us anymore.
peace.
cool blur transitions, but didn't really love actually interfaces layouts. was way to cramped, and the whole interface looks like it came from my SNES.
Reminds me of a slot machine. :D
But nothing special as others have
said.
I don't like the font at all
though. Hehe.. just my thoughts.
Cheers,
Venio
I liked the Big cats record site except for the horrible 3d model of a pistol they used in the intro. What is going on there?

Most sites are copyrighted and thus aren't open-sourced.
