Hi all
i am working on this logo which seem to be really difficult i dont know why please comment and criticise and if anyone can give me more ideas????

For someone trying to sell me design it is not designed well enough... Logos for design and mulitmedia companies should be outstanding... not just to impress the client to reflect the approach of the company straight away...
I can see the problem with it... 180 degrees...
First thing on my mind would be a character turning 180 degrees with a gray version standing on the original spot... iso style view with the text on the bottom...
( sorry don't have time for an image atm )...
The other idea is panorama image 180 degrees... wide angle... wide but not to height - kind of a banner like proportion...
hi now tell me is it better makes any sense? any other suggestion?
call to all innovative minds:smoov:
One thing bothering me is the diagonal line / arrows going down - gives it a negative touch...
Curve / arrow pointing up is immediately associated with something positive...
It's getting too complex... try and make it simpler again... this is not an illustration it's a logo... try and make it work in 3 colours max...
no gradients or funky effects unless it really serves the purpose...
The idea of a logo is to work on all media ( print and web ) from letterhead to businesscard... Try printing it out on a laserprinter... in 300dpi... does it still look decent ?
Stick with one font for the 180 and the subtitle... makes it look more like a unit...
OMG.. that's far more worse then the first logo.
i mean designwise.
why does it got bevel, gradients...
everything a logo shouldn't have is there now :disapprove:
always keep in mind when you design a logo start of black and white.
also make sure it never leaves illustrator before it's finished.
thanks a lot for input
i worked a bit more
plz advice
looks better then the beveled experiment, not too keen of the arrows tho.
just crossed my mind.. when i think 180° i think 'U-turn'
try to do something with that... a stylised U or something
but that would be 360 degrees  4
use the arrow head pointer on a U or half circle... to get the 180 degress accross...
the arrows look good but to complex... in my opinion...
thought 180° is 'U'
and 360° is 'O'
i am stuck
ok here is another version
think i am getting somewhere
plz take a look
totally agree with sense there :)Quote:

btw.. the 180 idea reminded me of the logo of a collab project im in. im not saying you should copy it, but it has that "U" thing on it. you might want to see it to get some ideas.
http://www26.brinkster.com/commm (it is the fusion project logo)
Be careful not to overuse certain effects in a logo, for instance you have 3 upside down 'e's - i would only have 1. Otherwise it kinda loses the effect :)
very sexy.Quote:

was bored today, so i made something for fun... see what you think.
and another for good measure... the "sign" idea was no-tec's, and i was bored so i decided to try it out
i think 6 months of constant nappy chainging and running in between cerelac n feeds my creative side is gone.....(my baby is today six months :)
big_k thanks
this is nice
if u dont mind i will show this to client as well with ur permission:rolleyes:
fine by me, you can contact me if you want the vector version of it.
why not fuse the 1 and the u, i came up with a quick example but it needs cleanup and whatnot. anyways good luck
