check out my new site plz

My new site has just been released.
Please check it out at http://www.arcadeplus.dot.nu

The site contains some games I made in Flash MX.
The site is almost complete but I just need to
finish a few pages and work on more games.
I will be making tutorials, releasing my code
and giving away my FLA's quite soon.

Please tell me what you think of the site and,
the games, and please tell me what I can do to
make them better.

Please take this as constructive critisism..

The green is way too bright
The logo needs some major work (it is a little blurry)
Don't use Times New Roman font
Black backgrounds are not desirable
Need more graphics
Don't use default colors (like the blue links, green background, etc..)
as someone said before me, "page counters are so 90s"

mainly, just experiment with some cool colors (I like greyish blues) and find a cooler font like verdana and spend some quality time in photoshop or illustrator developing a really cool logo

Do u mean the layout and how he used it??

Because if you use that typo with a good design its one of the pretiest, nicest and cleaner fonts from all times.

overall, you can do a lot better
but if you just started web design, then i still congradulate you cause i've seen a lot worse..

please show me a visually appealing site that uses that horrible font. As text, not an image.. I know I have never seen one, lol. I would like to know that there are some out there though.

Bank Gothic (in the logo) is also WAAAY too overused. I loved the font at first, but after seeing it on every site.. I quickly got bored with it. I can't stand looking at it now..

:smoov: I think you should reverse the order of your posts on your site so that people can see the most recent one first. And I agree with the no counter idea. Take it off...It'll make your site seem more professional.

I`ve seen multimedia work from them and allways use that one.
I guess it up to the designer.

First off, that is not Times New Roman on the apple site.. yes, it is very close though. Secondly, they only use it in a few places, and it is anti-aliased so it looks a lot better. Show me a site that uses times new roman as text that actually looks good. :D

What ever that font is....lose it. If you must go with standard fonts choose Georgia of Verdana.

And the green, help, throw me some sunglasses someone.

the site sux.. it was my first.
i will turn everythin around the color, font, banner (can som1 make me a banner cause i suck at makin them), color and i'll take off the counter.

I'll hav it all done by tomoro maybe.
