Finally Got My Own URL, baby!

Take a peek... this is the latest version of the site I am working on. Gimme more constructive critisizm please! :mrpimp:

I'd say make more use of the empty space availible on the site.

You logo is certainly an improvement.

Like somebody mentioned in your other post, try a thinner dotted border.

This is probably semantical, but your HTML code for the side is bloated. You can reduce a lot of that coding and in turn speed up download time.

I'll try a thinner dotted line just for kicks... but the site tends to have a sorta cartoonish hint to me. And the thicker dots just feel right to me. But I will at least look at it. As for the negative space in the bottom left corner... I plan to have that be where the portfolio pics will enlarge to, on the about me page I will probaby have a pic of myself appear there, and I'll think of more for the rest (I'm open to suggestions).

Anything else you might suggest?

Also I plan to put a nicer preloader in eventually too... that one is just a place holder.

Oh, and what do you mean by my HTML code is bloated?

On your about page, you haven't changed the downstate for the buttons on your scroller and it doesn't seem to fit with the way the buttons look for the other states!

Rest seems good to me!

hi tyranus, i can see you are new to fk. So before i tell you off - welcome. Now, you need to make your footer smaller at the moment it is way too big. It should be no wider than 300px, ho higher than 40px and the filesize should be no larger than 15k.

Look at your HTML code. Your using a div block to center a table. Then within that table you have cells that have div blocks within them. Use one or the other.

You should really be using divs to format your page. Tables are used for data, not page layout. Although this rule is never followed strictly.

Congratulations on the new domain. The logo is definitely better then before. Only thing I would question is the use of fonts. Seems to be quite a few different fonts.

logo is too much like the recycling symbol imo.

MarvynDT: The way I have the table set up is three colmns, the middle being the .swf and on each end I have a graphic of dotted lines. This way everything stays nice and tight. I assume you mean divider when you say "div" but I'm still confused heh. Anyways, if it works... don't fix it. I'm sure the download time won't be affected by a table anyways. :)

wdperson: Hmmm... think I should make the slogan the same font as the other main text?
