Cool... However, the monkey on the opening scene seems flat and the menu buttons need some sprucing up.

no I didn't win the flying fish comp. my portfolio is kind of small right now, its filling a space while I finish up some more clients

Is Chilly Willy in the public domain?

cool site, though my 2 conerns are the buttons text, kind of flat and boring, need something like the fish that he loves to eat behind or something to make them pop. My second concern, do you have O.J. type lawyers for when Disney comes after you?

I'll have to see what I can do about making the links more appealing, your not the first to mention it. as for Disney, Im not worried about them, I got permission years back, now the only thing they could say is my domain name (which they can't do anything about), and the fact that i have a similar looking chilly willy figure. Plus I have it all copyrighted so no worries :D

would your copy right be valid if they've had their cvharacter trademarked since 1953?
(Dont' mean to bust balls, just really curious how it works)

Walter Lantz created the character and the copyright is held by Universal if I'm not mistaken. How did you get permission from Disney anyway? They didn't have anything to do with Chilly Willy.

If something is in the public domain (such as the song "Happy Birthday") then it's legal for you to use it free of charge. If that's not the case, then you're opening up a massive can of worms by using a character that you haven't licensed the usage of.
