I'm so annoyed that everytime you have to rewrite movies, to be consistent with the standards. I worked one whole year! on a mayor flash based webside, and I am afraid that I will have to rewrite it again in say 5 years time because the flashplayer by than might not support AS1 anymore.
I don't mind expanding program languages, but why REPLACE it, beats me.
At the Macromedia side, or anywhere else, I so far havent seen any official policy on that matter.
