don't try to photocopy money (this applies in america with american money at least)
Most color copiers will allow one copy, then subsequent copies will produce all black, or it will not copy at all and you'll need to get it fixed.

I heard once that a scanner recognized a book as copywrite material and would NOT scan it.

Not realy life tips, more life stories. Whenever my cousin comes down to stay with me we always do "Freeloaders Week". Definently not an orignial idea but you have to take every opportunity to get free stuff.
One actualy tip is at the mall/store etc, if a shop has hot food say "how much can i get that for?". We had 2 weeks worth of dagward dogs. :D

You can use chuck & cheese tokens (whatever tokens that look like quarters) in some vending machines.... a long time ago, i did that and it acted likea dollar!!
To cover up the smell of marijuana smoke in your dorm room or elsewhere...take your hit and blow it out through a toilet paper roll tube stuffed with those fabric softening dryer-sheets......It will filter out the smell completely.

I've found that using pepsi bottles works much better: to avoid blowing out the tissues out of the toilet paper roll.
