everything looks good 2 me.. the nav bar is fine the way it is! gl
everything looks good and all. i dont know if your client already approved it but to me its too elegant for a construction company. I would go for the a style similar to the baground in the contact section, with elements like rough paper texture, design sketches, that kind of stuff...
If anything you win the load up award... that joint loaded up super fast... now thats what i call flash.
i love yall

Why should a construction company site look hard.. i mean its not the workers who will be going to the site its the ones who will be paying the bill.. and last i saw they be wearin suites ... how is that for "elegant".. i hate suites my self... ;)Quote:

I know what you mean, it all depends of the image they want. But i think they shouldnt rely to portray it only only using photos.
I really hate using suits too, but you gotta wear em for your clients!
Thanks for the feedback. I appreciate the possitivity out there. :)
The design was mainly following the brochure we are creating for them, so I pretty much was limited to photography. The cover is embossed which I think is kinda cool. I just used the die artwork on the contact page.
I'm concerned about readability of the text over the images... what do you think? Can you read it?
Is it too lame? Need more "flashy" elements?
We didn't get to fix their logo
the text looks a bit blurred but you can read it... if you have flash mx 2004 go to view.. then go down to grids then down to "snap to pixels" and click.. but don't rely on it to snap automaticly... just zoom in to about 2000 ... now you should see a bunch of lil boxes.. these are the pixels... now you have to connect the corners of either the text box or the first font in the text box... the latter seems to work the best for me... but i think that you will get the best results if you use a "pixel font" and then try what i just metioned... if you want some pixel fonts i will zip some up and send em to you (shhhhhh don't tell no body cause i aint suppose to do it) .. now i aint no flash master so this aint a tutorial just telling him what works for me EXAMPLE SITE
i am not a fan of pixel fonts but i must say that they look damm good in flash:D

I try to avoid using pixel fonts. I'll try to align to an exact pixel to see if that helps.
