some reasons for using FLV over SWF:
the problem with swf is when you load in an swf movie it gradually takes up more and more memory, so if you have a 1 hour movie, which you may have if you have online training videos, this will cause memory problems as the flash player gets clogged up, you will also start suffering sound syncing problems, FLV solves this as it streams the movie. If you use flash comm to stream the FLV you will have the added benifit of never downloading the video also, so you have this level of security by not letting people have copies of your videos that they could re-distribute, essential if your project has video content that people pay to access.

excelent, thanks for the info. I've been playing with exporting flv's from after effects but have been haveing problems with them looking over compressed. Granted I have no real video training so it's probly something I'm doing wrong. Has anyone seen any good articals on optimiseing video for the web? I'm shure their are tons, but I'm also shure that someone here has probly seen an especially good one.
thanks
