i guess we should start a petition of all the people with ripped games on minijuegos. anyone good at whipping up dbases in 5 mins? :)
developers name/ game title / minijuegos url of game / anything else?
or maybe this would be a complete waste of time. coordinated email barrage perhaps?
Santafighter isn't on his site!?? This guy has no taste! ;)
Present panic is though. Doh!!
Seriously, I hope you guys manage to shut this guy down.
Stealing games is one thing, but selling them is another. That's taking the piss.
Good luck
Chris :)
i can do that, but not until round 6 pm (GMT+1)
developers name - game title - own url - minijuegos url - ++
any other?
We should make a page against them.. something like FKersagainstminijuegos.com :)
I have not made any games yet. But I think it is hard to get them because they are (minijuegos for example is in Spain) not in our (my) country.
Even, the process will be very long, pain in the ass, expensive (time + money).
I suggest to create a good formal and professional letter, signed by all members, and send to their ISP. I am sure (hope) they will listen.
And keep the letter for later use (if they move).

Worse? create a "flash game" or script or whatever to "grab" their index.html every 5 seconds. Distribute this to every members of this site. Let they pay the bw bill. Jungle law, strongest will survive.

I sent him, his providers and some that advertize on his site mails in english. I started out with a nice and formal letter that gradualy got real ugly. It took about 30 mails. Most just copies but I really think that he got off his fat ass when I finaly (thanx to you and the good people of ultrashock.com) got the mailaddresses to the host and providers of www.minijuegos.com. And let them know what kind of a costumer they had.
I am quite happy right now because all of my gamefiles have been removed but I can assure you that, the ***** made alot of doe of my game and YOURS. So you should absolutly write down a petition and try to drive a stake through minijuegos heart. I'll sign up.
Oh! And I should also let you know that this moron have no shame. My forum got hacked just a day after my last complaint and after I posted some very unkind words in there own forum. I know it originate from them because a pic of a dude with the same nickname ware pasted all over my site. So have better defence than me when trying to get rid of such lozers as minijuegos.
I actually dont have any 24/7 host.. i only have my own pc, and its off when i sleep...
So does anybody else have a host?
I have a host which is most of the time on...
If there's anything I could do, I'd be glad to help
I just want to site say thank you Fk community for the effort to try and stop golddigger sites like these. Of course, they are not going to remove your game without a hassle because they want to make as much money as they possibly can.
JediMind - sorry about the site, things like that really piss me off.
If I had any games on this site I would be right on with you guys, but I do not. I would like to help though. :)
As I discovered a game of mine on i-am-bored website (without authorization), I've search on this forum for copyrigths problems and I come accross this thread. By the way, I discovered that minijuegos has put at least 3 of my games on their website.
I saw that yesterday, the stimunation Crazy balls game was on the home page of minijuegos, I guess they didn't ask authorization for this, did they?
What are the news for this website, are they some legal action taken against it? Does it worth to contact them, and how to do so ? (I didn't find a contact form).
I'm waiting the response of i-am-bored but did some of you have some experiences with this website, and is it the same kind as minijuegos?
As to Crazy Balls, that was written to be spread far and wide ( pimpware ), just surprised how long it's taken to get on there to be honest.
Their is a copyright message at the start of the game explaining that people are free to link to it / host it, so long as no profit is involved.
In the case of cballs we're just using these high traffic shovelware sites to our own advantage, to promote the stimunation brand name.
Squize.

So they didnt distort your content ?
Some of my games they went into th efile and removed the contact info and our own advertisments.
Yea, wasnt there adverts in there before? or did you take them out, if if not then minijuegos seems to have done it for you.
Ali
Didnt even test it til you guys mentioned it, and yep they've ripped the advert code out ( Checked with live http headers under Firefox ).
What the hell is wrong with these people ? Isn't it enough that they get free content ( Usually by stealing ) plus the ad revenue, but they also have to screw with the swf too.
Squize.
We where on a good way to come up with a joint solution about Minijuegos before. But Staff of Flashkit closed the thread because they didnt feel this was the right place for this sort of discussion.
Anyways, if anyone want to host some kind of petition against these sites, i'll join up. And I am sure lots of other developers will. If we sent the minijuegos ISP the petition signed by a lot of people then that stupid jerkoff site will be shut down... possibly.
