question: what is this site made of? flash? html? a hybrid?
u seem to be using lite to pastel colors for the content and menu stuff.. but ur background is quite far from the scheme... maybe you can adjust that.. if you notice it.
why'd i asked what the content is made of? because if this is on flash.. then you should have thought that you can use other fonts... if it's basically gonna be made up of common fonts supported by most browsers, you're wasting the flash ability to incoporate other fonts... it's a common question asked...
submit button? umm maybe you could change the color, or make it a bit distinct from the textboxes... so that it's easy to spot.
these are just opinions. :)
1. work with the colors on the right (basically, there should be as less colors on the site as possible. that eases the view.)
2. Text should be in one color (for same reason. Black preferred, but in your case, I guess, dark yellow would be better). If you want to make a link than just underline it.
3. It might just be me, but I think that it would be better if the “submit” button is opposite “password” field.
4. I like the “ID” logo and the shore photo.
5. Upper menu (web design, graphic design, more). If you started to write with the "drawn" letters, than “more” should be the same style. Maybe smaller, but definitely "drawn".
6. It would be better to stick with one font for all the menus (main text doesn’t count)
Generally, I really like it. Very calm and peaceful, very Californian ;) Good luck with it!

mxgen - as of the now the layout is a static .psd - I'm just doing the design work right now. I havent decided if it will be launched in flash. If I do ill slice it and start porting it.

I like it. I tend to like alot of colours in sites.
1) Not sure about the caps font for San Diego. Doesn't really suit the style.
2) You might want to reduce the font size for Customer Login and move the submit button below password. Looks neater I think.
