1. Case
An Actionscript 'Case' Statement like in other scripting language that can be used like 'If'
2. Depth Detection
At the moment you can swap the depth of two movie clips but you cannot get their current depths to find out whether you want to swap them making it hard to do 3D stuff. (correct me if you can actually do this)
I'd like to see more rabbits in flash 6, there weren't enough by any means in previous versions
I want it now.

when you control-alt-c to copy a layer, the name of the layer should get copied too.

If you press CTRL-ALT-SHIFT-R thirty times quickly, you do get rabbits.
3D and much more TEXT effects. Full HTML and XML support or if not full, then a much better will do it;)
ohhh and better sound editing. <----this would be fantastic.
a button that you can hold down to lock with other lines. i hate it when i have to lock half, unlock, lock again !!!!

Please make sure flash6 EXE's should work perfectly both in PC & MAC.
Please do rectify all the bug lists currently in Flash5.
Maybe someone's already mentioned these, but I didn't read all 600 replies :)
How about:
-Better bitmap control (bitmaps and vectors both look like how you wanted them to in the first place...)
-More low-level interaction with the browser (getting browser info, etc.)
-More text effects (different bold styles...)
-An easy way to pass arguments into the movie from your browser source documentation (like in Java, <param name="asdf" value="fdsa">, then being able to read that into your Flash movie)
-Much more flexible ActionScript editor.
-Built in 3D support with different kinds of texture mapping, shading, ... :) That one would sell out :)
-All the other things I can't think about early in the morning.
Is that enough for now? :)

today we can only import .mov files...
ADD the rest of the videoformats... mpeg - avi etc...

when importing a jpg, and make "brake apart" to
cut out a litle piece of that picture..... that litle
piece is "holding" the entire filesize of the whole original picture.
fix that !!

when choose "trace bitmap", on the best level: 1 - 1
the rendering takes far too long time if the pic is a high detail jpg.
i understand that it must take some time, but...... this is SLOW !!!!

is this suposed to be a "shortkey" ??

i find that loopin a mp3 is NOT as good as loopin a waw.
The waw always loops perfect, but the mp3 DONT.

it should b possible to:
copy a movieclip - alter it in anyway u wanna WITHOUT aplying this changes to the original,...
in other words.... make a "subcopy" option we can change.

TRACING
when hand-tracing a picture, its sometime hard to tell where the lines is not closed.
whitch makes the color filling impossible.
instead of being forced to zoom inn and check everything:..
MAKE THIS BUTTON: CLOSE LINES? !!!

alow the "dropper tool" to pick colors from another window
than flash.....
Macromedia already has this possibility on dreamweaver.

It would be great if they'd allow mask channels to allow gradients. Then you could have partial masking, rather than full on or off....
I'd like to see an option where you can substitute one movie clip/graphic object for another, for a number of frames.. for example..
I made 2 layers, with complex animations on each, and both layers are using the same movie clip.. I'd like to be able to change the movie clip that's on one layer somehow..
so then the 2 layers would have seperate movie clips on them..
I know it will probably never happen but:
How about a Search & Replace for Actionscripting. I mean, hell, NOTEPAD has it, why not a professional app?
It would be nice when there is 500 instances of something that needs replacing.
OK, here we go:
- Flash 6 should have a tool to make bevel (inner, outer, the whole 9 yards) for rectangles, free-forms, circles and textfields possible... Something like Fireworks.
- Flash 6 should have more sample buttons, lessons and text-effects like fade-in, fade-out, earthquake, and others...
- Flash 6 should bring an ActionScript editor in three modes, not two: expert, semi-expert and normal. The semi-expert should run something similar to VB; if you make a mistake and leave the line a message box should pop up and prompt you to correct it.
- "LoadMovie" and "LoadMovieNum" should have the arguments "left", "top" and "alpha" added, besides the level number and/or the target...
- More default swatches.
- The movie limits should be enhanced, specially the maximum limit...
- Flash 6 should have more choices of patterns and/or textures for fill and strokes.
- The menu Windows > Panels > "User's customized panel" should be able to carry a customizabel keyboard shortcut.
- Full html support for textfields, not only <b>, <i>, <p> and a few others...
- Combo-boxes, drop-down boxes and list boxes, as well as scrollbars should be included in the main Library...
