I'm sure many of you will have seen these before, but for any newcomers, or just interested parties, here are a collection of my experiments:
Single Player Darts (Needs PC > 400MHz)
10 Pin Bowling
Multiplayer Darts (Needs PC > 400 MHz. Also, I recommend using Messenger to arrange to meet someone in here, otherwise, you could be waiting a while for another player)

forum newbie , how did you make that multiplayer darts ? i mean how did you make it all online ?

That's a really nice site Lopez. It does run a little slow on my PC, which is the equivalent of about 2.8 thingies I think, but still looks and sounds cool.
The 'flowers' on the bottom don't look so good on the low performance version though I'm afraid, but they're great on the high performance one.

I made this with wings but colored with 3dfa and smoothed it out. Also I made it rotate with 3dfa and turned it into a flash.
Nice 3D Work ! The rocket launcher on the the other thread is neat too.

Great design on your intro! If you don't mind, I have one tip that will help the appearance of your cat eyes when they first appear. If you place them on a black background before before saving them as transparent GIFs there will be no jagged white border around them.Quote:

Just a note to be careful with on this:
I did something like this a while back and some spammer took it over and caused me lots of grief with my ISP. I suggest putting some sort of password protection on it, so only authorised people can use it.

I would think it would be a good thing to teach people, but I would just warn them as to the risks. To avoid abuse, I would put some basic security on it by putting an edit box in the swf with a variable inside it eg. entryineditbox.
When you perform the loadvariables, just do something like
if (entryineditbox=="SpecialSecurePasswordetc7hGJ")
{
loadvariables........
}
In the PHP script, do a check that entryineditbox="SpecialSecurePasswordetc7hGJ"
This should stop people from finding your swf and sending abusive e-mails, and also should stop spammers from just calling the PHP script directly.
I'm sure it wouldn't stop a determined attack, but they probably have bigger fish to fry, so it will probably keep the casual mischief makers away.
