Bizzare... Not seen that before.
Yea, definately a new concept. Don't know how pratical it is but it sure is something new and fun.
I think it's pretty cool. A concept I've not seen before and I think it compliments the product.
that is some wicked new approach
untill now I have never concidered communication of two .swf files possible.
now, I can't believe how simple that is.
duh... :cow:
Wow - super cool.
absolutee class
hats off to its producers
It was about time someone else made use of that idea. The first people i've seen use that was www.stickee.co.uk
Nice though, they took it to a higher level with the cool motion triggers. There were barely any of those at Stickee.
Zak.
very cool stuff. I love how text moves off one and synched text moves onto the other. Pretty nice.
Very kewl, and executed well. The thing that I dont like is thta why the two browswers? Its kewl, but some non-web savvy person would ask the same question. This site could have been accomplished in one browser. Its kewl that we can do this, but why would you need to?
WOAH!WOAH!WOAH!WOAH!WOAH!WOAH!WOAH!WOAH!WOAH!WOAH! WOAH!WOAH!WOAH!
very new
I think the two browsers it just to create an experience the users have not yet experienced.
I think the two browsers had a metaphorical meaning of two phones communicating with each other, with interaction between the two unimaginably fast (since its 3G).
nice stuff.
I did a site like that awhile ago, where it was two windows acting as one, granted not as nice, but still, everyone told me it was stupid and retarded.
wow, that rules. best cool site in a long time.
Pretty damn impressive. I get the 2 browser idea for this site and I think it works pretty well but I can't hardly see how it would be very useful for many others. Lots of work for what some might call a distracting effect.
what are the chances they used javascript/dhtml? :p
anyway, good site.. i've done something like this before.. but it wasn't for a website. :P
i used visual basic 6, hahaha.. i tried so hard to make a presentation with visual basic coz i didn't know how to use flash at the time.. so i tried using visual basic to come up with effects like those, since flash could do all those tweens and stuff. :P
well, it is a cool site.. :) fonts could've been improved on.. color scheme rocks.
Its a very, very nice site! (**It doesnt work in Netscape though :cow: **)
Cheers,
Bok
seriously, I can totally give respect to the technical accomplishment, but why use it? It *might* make sense if you had the two windows far apart from each other (like 2 distant people on their phones) but that would be a pain in the ass to keep on going back between the two for the user. But when their right next to each other like this, I just don't get the point rather than to say "hey, look what we can do with 2 windows". Plus the windows were cutting parts off for me like the skip button. Its a pain to minimize the project cuz you have to minimize both windows, and you have to do it fast before the other one pops back up.Quote:

The design itself is amazing, flash transitions, graphics, colours, all top notch. I guess the window thing I found gimmicky, because I don't think it was worth using when weighted against some of the usability problems that it creates.
That was some outstanding stuff. Never seen anything like that before...
