I love the masking on this site, where parts of the images seem get filled in with color.

pretty simple actually. just tracethe image and make a mask. then tween a block growning behind it.

I haven't redesigned it since '03 but the portfolio is updated with http://www.AryaVeda.com, http://www.enzomilano.com and other sites I've done recently.

Anywho... when tracing images like that remember to get a pic with good compisition.

makes a lot of sense after spending a day with pics that dont work well (dont have good contrast).

It's a website made with various articles from authors. It's focus is on Hinduism and seeing the similarities and misconceptions in religion across the world. It does have some scripture articles in there like the Dao Di Ching, links to the Srimad Bhagavatam, as well as the Om Jai Jagdish prayer on the homepage. I drew all the purdy pictures too. =)

Less frequent posts. Less frequent members/regulars visiting this forum (which could be because of the previous reason). The standard of what's "cool" has lowered (BIGTIME!). People only ever post to say "oh gee thats cool" instead of having any productive discussions...to name a few :)

The only reason I started coming to FK's message board was for this one forum back in the days. Now, still, other than the Coffee Lounge, I think pretty much every post I've made is from the Cool Sites forum. Gotta keep it alive yo! :D
