killersound Intro

wow that site is extremely old. I remember worshipping that intro when i first started learning Flash . Now it`s a bit embaressing :) Cool mix of music but nothing else.

Guess the intro is quiet ok, but I aint sure it proves the point of the necessity of sound for web (still a nice feature but so many people won't even hear it).

I think that the intro works well visualy and the text says it all in a very nice and efficient way...so why bother with sound on top of that.

Ain't convinced by the mix but that just a matter of taste I guess.

When I was studying films, I remember that teacher coming in class with his sound mix sheet made of something like 56 layers of differents sounds, and than showing us the scene in the film where that was used, just to prove us that the image will always win when put together with the sound and that all that the mind focus on is the moving pics. We truly couldnt spot more than 2 different sounds when really focusing on it - which was by closing our eyes... :p

Moving pics are very powerful indeed...
