Oddly enough I see your comments of something of a success on my part...one that led to ultimate failure...but a small victory nonetheless and I'll take what I can get at this point. :D You see I PM'd Dri at the beginning of the round and asked him if it was ok to use the other stock images as well as my own. It was actually my intention to throw people off a little bit as far as which stock got used, but I guess that ended up biting me in the ass. :)

Who are you asking if there was a showcase on Ultrashock? Dri or my self, cuz I'm only a newbie, I don't think my skills are up to par with show casing material. But that's my goal!

There is a lot that I still have to learn. I suck at typography and in my book if you don't have a handle on that aspect of design your lacking seriously. And that is something that artist such as your self amongst many others here in the arena and the godfather of the whole thing GERBS himself I'm trying to learn from. :)

p.s. I know, I will be doing it my self... With Marley's friend LOL

Dri ---- You are right you don't have to use type in every image, but type is crucial mang. And I have to learn that skill. I want to drop images with great type... I've seen some killer drops in here by you nords, gerbs, EVP, fearless, O, man the list goes on and on. I have to learn to do that... until I do I'm just beginning... Understand, know what I mean Jelly Bean?

By the way where was that drop gerbs did of the DALI image... that image blew me away fo shizzles.

Yeah I liked my concept but the execution didnt come out quite as planned lol. I think alot of people don't take the time to really look at each image and therefore couldnt tell what was going on in mine (this being the cause for a few of the upsets IMO). But I loved your composition nords and best of luck the rest of the way.

Thanks for the critque, but i noticed you said you didnt know what stock my opponent used either...little tip: Pairing G uses the stock that was assigned to pairing G in the thread for round 2 stocks...comparing both final images to this is very helpful in deciding who has created a better piece.

as far as it goes... I think that ctranter and creativeinsomnia are my picks for the final two. those two have consistently been awesome.

I'd critique the images, but rush nailed it. even on mine. I probably should have spent more than 20 minutes on my image, bu the lighting crit was totally correct. I had set up using two flashlights and 5 stuffed animals how it would look, but still didn't get the placement of the chickens where I needed them - closer to the front to get it where I needed it.

Anyway... guys, awesome second round, a few upsets, a few newcomers putting on the pressure, and a lot of surprises onto who did what.

Id say my picks to the finals but I hate hyping people up and then havinf them feel pressure

holy crap those critiques are long as hell and are pretty much dead on (for mine atleast), so, thanks guys, always good to hear some feedback.

Round 3 is going to be crazy, I think it's pretty much up for grabs, everyone has shown that they can put up killer images so the pressure is on

Agree. good job wuth the lengthy crits guys. I need to get around to doing that but typing left handed is way too hard
