I have to agree with Carly on this one.
Experiment, but for the love of god do it when your brain's fully developed.
Kids at this age are going through the same chemical changes in thier brains as a child between the ages of 2 and 3.
I mean, pot. Sure it makes you lazy and stupid, who didnt smoke pot when they were 17?
I guess heroin and coke are the new "easy" drugs.

coca leaves are a great pick me up. Poppy plants (and the opium inside them) were used for all kinds of treaments including several child ailments. To be honest I bet mild drug experimentation is less harmfull than the ingredients of twinky and cool aid.

Two weeks ago a local cop told me the story of a 10 year old who had died from....
inhaling dust cleaner (that stuff you spray to clean electronics) he knocked off 8 cans.
His father a doctor tried to revive the kid but it was too late.
How does a ten year old get a hold of 8 aresol cans of that stuff? Why does a child of affluent background need to get kicks like that at 10? Where were is parents.

It's really not that shocking to me... I mean at 15 I knew alot of kids who had experimented with drugs and some who regularly used before, after and during school.
Cocaine is overrated imo... never saw how people get so dependant on that crap.

why was there absolutely no mention in that article on how this girl got 18 bags of coke? No mention of the parents (if there are any) being prosecuted? WTF?!?!
OK, im getting worried now, my son has just started school and tho i was a bit behind the rest of my school i held off on the drug experiments till i was about 15. Unfortunatly for me my 3 months of experiments (low grade pot was the best we could get btw) i was pregnant. I am fully aware of the issues that arrise from drug use in low grade situations, i cant begin to imagine what the 'standard' is for experiments when my son gets older.
I dont think his kick-boxing is gonna save his ass either!
