They say the new one will have battle.net rooms that will probably support 8 players like the others but it isn't finalized yet. They said groups of 5 will work better though.
You guys did make ladder characters correct? What is the point of not making a character non ladder?
I just got the new patch and it is so much better not having to have the cd now. I made a Barb and will try it out tonight and see if I like it. His name is "ShavedTaint" :)

Yeah it was painful.
Our characters are the exact opposite right now.
I can stand there like a tank and take damage, but give out none.
Now that I can use Blessed Hammer, i'll be better, but it drains my mana like crazy.
yeah, i put most of my stats into mana, and now i cant wear any decent armor or take more then 3 hits.. however i can clear a room like nobodys buisness.
now that i have my blood golem, and iron maiden, i double team those two to tank anything. constant flow of life for the golem = good.
ahhh I can't wait to get into this. I am going to clean how with this Amazon. I used to be strictly Necro(tried an assassin when LOD first came out) so it will be nice to try another class out.
Make sure to look up a guide to use with your amazon. You dont want to play for 20 hours and realize that you just put all your skills into something completely useless down the road (in hell).
I used to rock the amazon, back when strafe+valkyrie was really powerful, it was a blast.
i dont think iv ever looked up a guide for diablo2 characters:-/
I'm a little bored with the druid right now. All I do is stand back and let my summons do all the work. Suppose thats what I get for going summoning. Should have went elemental!
Last night I was able to do laundry AND write a novel while my summons did all the work. :)
We going to finish act 2 tonight?
I might be able to put in an hour later on in the night, around 10-11.
ill be there unless my bi polar girlfriend throws a hissy fit.

The ladder was just reset like what- last week? There is already a flood of level 98 characters on the ladder. Insane.
Yeah its not that insane though.
We've played for what, 5 or so hours and we're almost at level 20. We're only rockin 3 in a party.
People who play this 10+ hours a day with a max party can probably blow through normal mode and be level 40 in a day.
The hardest part is when you hit the experience wall where it gets really tough to level up. There are exact levels(around level 60 or 70) where experience from monsters is reduced, and keeps getting reduced the higher you get...getting to level 90 is grueling.
So we're talking days and days of pure Baal Hell runs.
5 hours and were are not killing everything, we ignored most of the monsters so far in act 2 unless we had to kill em to get by.
